This includes optimizing on-site water recirculation, minimizing fresh water requirements, and ensuring the discharge of treated effluent in compliance with applicable regulations. Our team can help integrate water management considerations at every stage of a project and provide customized engineering services to help our clients achieve their productivity goals and adapt to market conditions.
The Water and Mineral and Metal Waste Management division is currently seeking a Hydrology and Hydraulics Expert.

The engineer will also participate in dam breach analyses for our mining clients.
He or she will be required to participate in various projects and studies, both local and international.
Your role

- Collaborating with cost estimators.
- Participate in the preparation of service proposals.
- Carry out project management for studies, including communications with the Client, management and control of the project budget and manage other administrative aspects of the project.
- Be willing to travel in the course of one’s duties for short stays abroad, to mining sites or metallurgical plants.
About you
- University degree (Bachelor’s degree minimum) in civil engineering with specialization in hydrology, hydraulics, or equivalent.
- Having a master’s degree in engineering or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in the fields of hydrology and hydraulics.
- Proficiency in HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS software.
- Experience with FLO-2D software is an asset.
- Member of the Quebec Order of Engineers.
- Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written)*
- The candidate must demonstrate excellent teamwork skills within multidisciplinary engineering teams composed mainly of engineers specializing in water management and treatment, geotechnical engineers, hydrogeologists, hydrologists, geochemists and mining environment specialists.
*This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, since the work to be produced is intended for audiences located elsewhere in Canada, internationally or in another region of the world.
