Description
Position Details: • Appointment: One year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability. • Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Responsibilities: • Develop and apply informatics and data-driven approaches to agricultural water use research. • Design and implement computational workflows for soil moisture modeling and analysis. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate modern informatics tools with agronomic parameters. • Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at national and international conferences.
Qualifications
Qualifications: • Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • Strong background in computing, AI, and informatics, with a focus on agricultural water resources. • Proficiency in programming (Python, C plus plus preferred) and data-driven modeling. • Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in research settings.
