The Opportunity
Shape the World Around You – As a member of our Water Resources Engineering team, you’ll help shape the projects that define tomorrow’s communities, infrastructure, and environmental solutions. Your expertise will make a difference across the Prairies and Northern Canada.
We’re hiring three Civil Engineers (Intermediate to Senior) with a Water Resources or Hydrotechnical focus to join our growing team in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, or Yellowknife. You’ll be part of a collaborative group delivering high-impact engineering and environmental water services across Canada and globally.
Your Impact
- Lead and contribute to the planning, design, and construction of water resources, hydrotechnical, geotechnical, and mining projects.
- Deliver innovative solutions for flood mitigation, hydraulic structures, natural channel design, and regulatory permitting.
- Prepare tender packages including design drawings, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
- Manage and support multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring seamless collaboration across engineering, science, and client stakeholders.
- Provide contract management and engineering support during construction phases of major infrastructure projects.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, with experience in construction administration and site inspections.
- More than 5 years of experience in civil engineering design, with a focus on water resources or hydrotechnical projects.
- Eligible for immediate registration with APEGA or APEGS as a Professional Engineer.
- Proven experience in tender preparation, construction administration, and site inspections.
- Familiarity with water management infrastructure, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, and mine water management is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and mentor junior staff.
- Committed to safety leadership and technical excellence in every aspect of project delivery.
