- Analyze the industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape for water companies, globally.
- Develop data-backed and actionable insights for water companies seeking to understand their peer group, business models, competitive positioning, and strategies for growth.
- Develop and manage datasets—M&A, leading company financials—for quarterly reports for clients.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate key shifts of water sector businesses, including M&A, market entry, partnerships, and investments.
- Analyze the role of key water industry stakeholders, including strategics, financial firms (i.e., PE and VC firms), and water industry outsiders making investments and acquisitions.
- Engage with water company executives and stakeholders to understand their business objectives, challenges, and needs for competitive insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to water company clients through written reports, presentations, and workshops.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and consulting to align strategies and drive business growth.
Show off your skills and experience:
- 2 years to 5 years of relevant experience in business strategy, management consulting, or the water industry.
- Strong understanding of business concepts, financial analysis, and financial market research methodologies.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and develop actionable analysis.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey insights and recommendations to executive-level audiences.
- Proficiency with Excel, Tableau…etc.
- Strong interest in finance and the water industry.
The Basics:
- Bachelor or graduate degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Spain
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
- Position is located in Boston, Massachusetts or Berkeley, California.
