Austin Water is seeking a Professional Engineer to sponsor and execute large diameter potable water and reclaimed water pipeline projects. The growing reclaimed water system provides water supply for non-potable uses and is an instrumental part of Austin Water’s Water Forward Plan, which will help ensure adequate water supply in the future. In addition to engineering design and review functions, this project sponsorship role includes aspects of project management by coordinating with multiple teams and departments to plan, design, bid, and construct system distribution and transmission main projects on time and on budget.
