PhD Opportunity: Numerical and Flume Investigation of Emerging Contaminant Transport at the River Aquifer Interface.
🎓 Our Groundwater Hydrology Group, in collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, is opening a call for applications for a PhD.
- Conduct flume experiments to measure changes in water chemistry along flow paths in riverbed sediments.
- Develop and apply numerical models of fluid flow and reactive transport in river–aquifer systems.
- Analyse sensor data and water chemistry results.
- Write and maintain code (Python or MATLAB preferred).
- Present and publish scientific results in conferences and journals.
