The Bureau of Meteorology is looking for a hydrology/hydrography unicorn. With a rare mix of technical skills, a flair for team management and strong strategic vision, the Team Lead will build and manage a small technical team in support of the Bureau’s flood services.
Responsible for the timely delivery and quality of the nation’s flood data, the Team Lead will ensure that the right data is in the right place at the right time. They will represent the Bureau in strategic engagements with flood data providers and will lead the development and promotion of standards and processes that enhance the value, accessibility, and quality of flood data and metadata.
Ensuring the seamless integration of new processes by leveraging existing employee expertise, the incumbent will identify risks and implement effective control and mitigation to ensure seamless service delivery.
