Becoming a Young Scientific Programme Committee (YSPC) member is your chance to elevate your career, build a powerful network, and gain hands-on experience in a global setting. As a key contributor to a Seminar team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the programme for World Water Week 2026 under the theme Water for People and Progress.
Please note that to be eligible as a young professional, you need to be under the age of 35, or turning 35 in 2026. Travel and accommodation will not be covered financially. You have to be able to cover your own travel and accommodation expenses in Stockholm during World Water Week, which will take place August 2026.

- Advancing gender equity and gender transformative approaches in water.
- Elevating Indigenous perspectives to co-create water solutions.
- Ensuring water and sanitation in crisis and displacement.
- Achieving household water security for all amid climate challenges.
- Unequal waters – uncovering and overcoming systemic inequalities.
- Improving indicators to deliver equitable water outcomes.
- Mobilising equitable finance for climate-resilient water security.
