Bachelor or Science. Agricultural engineer.
Specific Requirements
Agricultural Engineer able to participate in field trials related to irrigation strategies and water stress management in strawberry, including installation and maintenance of soil moisture and sap flow sensors, physiological data collection, and support in fruit production and quality assessment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and basic knowledge of data logging and technical software will be valued.

Salary
Amount: 1505.05 € gross, monthly
Duties and Responsibilities
Technical support in the installation and monitoring of drip irrigation systems.
Field data collection: soil moisture, water potential, photosynthesis and production.
Collaboration in fruit quality assessment (firmness, °Brix, colour).
Recording and analysis of experimental data in spreadsheets and technical software.
Collaboration in the preparation of technical reports and logistical support for the company Berrynest.
Eligibility criteria
Agricultural engineer with experience in localised irrigation management and irrigation programming, knowledge of plant physiology and the use of agronomic sensors, previous experience in trials with strawberries or fruit and vegetable crops, knowledge of data analysis software (Excel, R, or similar) and a type B driving licence.
Selection process
Academic record in Agricultural Degree: 3 points
Work experience in field trials and irrigation management: 2 points
Contributions to scientific conferences/symposiums related to irrigation control: 2 point
Active participation in research projects related to irrigation: 1 points
Specific training in electrical installations: 1 point
Other merits: 1 point
