Open position for a PhD researcher to work in a newly started EU project. The position will focus on resilience, developing life cycle optimization models for Nature-Based Solutions and applying probabilistic and statistical methods to predict performance under different future climate scenarios.

Candidates with strong skills in civil or environmental engineering, applied mathematics, or data-driven modelling are welcomed to share their interest and send me a message. Experience with statistical and probability analysis, life cycle modelling, water modelling or flood risk, or system dynamics is welcomed.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to research on resilient natural systems while collaborating within a leading academic environment. It also offers the opportunity to work in a international environment collaborating with partners from 5 countries.

This position includes a competitive PhD stipend and includes includes support of PhD fees (up to EU fees).
