Job Summary
This position will perform plant, water chemistry, soil, and macroinvertebrate monitoring in wetlands across Minnesota as a crew lead.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, or natural resources with an emphasis in botany, plant ecology, or aquatic biology AND one year of professional experience conducting field vegetation surveys identifying wetland plant species in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of: various wetland monitoring methods, how wetland condition criteria are developed and calculated, data management, Geographic Information Systems, mobile data capture applications, experimental design and statistical analysis of ecological data, State of Minnesota water and wetland policies and rules.
