The Department of Environmental Sciences at Rutgers, New Brunswick, NJ invites applications for a full-time Non-Tenure Track Teaching Instructor. The Instructor’s primary duties will be to teach and coordinate undergraduate Environmental Science courses, online and in person. The primary teaching assignment will be multiple sections of Introduction to Environmental Science. Other courses in the Environmental Science and Engineering programs will be assigned as needed and appropriate.

Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field, and relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate level, both online and in person. Experience with active learning and current pedagogical methods as well as inclusive course design and assessment are preferred.

This will be a renewable appointment at the rank of Teaching Instructor with salary commensurate with experience, and the possibility for advancement. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds including those underrepresented in STEM to apply.
