Requirements
As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting our Hydrogeology team with:
- Assisting with hydro-census surveys and data interpretation.
- Supporting drilling supervision activities.
- Assisting with aquifer pump/slug test supervision and data analysis.
- Collecting water monitoring data (levels and samples).
- Assisting with data analysis and building databases.
- Participating in local and international fieldwork programmes.
- Assisting in compiling reports and providing administrative support.
- Working alongside a team of specialists and learning to integrate technical and social aspects of projects.
- Supporting proposal development and business development initiatives.
- Building professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
Qualifications
- BSc. (Honours in Hydrogeology or related field preferred, or currently completing studies).
Work Experience
- No formal experience required, but any prior exposure to environmental consultancy or the mining sector will be advantageous.
Other Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
- Awareness of Environmental, Water, Mining and Social legislation.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Good report writing and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn, innovate and contribute.
