Role: Training & Capacity Building Specialists
Location: Pune
We are looking for experienced Consultants specializing in:
- Watershed Management
- Focus on training communities and field teams in soil and water conservation, water harvesting, climate-resilient agriculture, and sustainable land management practices.
- Strengthening capacities in planning, implementing, and monitoring watershed development projects.
- GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
- Application of GIS and remote sensing tools for natural resource management, land use planning, and impact assessment.
- Building capacities in mapping, data analysis, visualization, and decision-support systems for field-level planning.
- Biodiversity
- Training on biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable use of natural resources.
- Enhancing skills in community-based biodiversity management, agro-biodiversity, and monitoring of ecological outcomes.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in training & capacity building.
- Experience in designing training modules, including training inputs and methodologies, in allied sectors.
- Conduct training needs assessments and design customized capacity-building interventions for farmers and field staff.
- Create high-quality training manuals, modules, presentations, videos, skits and resource materials.
- Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and exposure visits to strengthen practical learning.
- Monitor, document, and report training activities, ensuring timely submission to stakeholders.
- Maintain and update a training content calendar for structured execution.
- Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of training-related documents for internal use and external audits.
- Collaborate with project teams, government departments, and external agencies for seamless coordination of training activities.
- Familiarity with documentation.
- Familiarity with training monitoring, reporting, and outcome assessment.
- Experience in similar assignments is an added advantage.
Education
- Postgraduate degree in related fields.
Role: Consultant for project based and flexible to travel within India.
