Description
The North East Catchment Management Authority works with the community, government and funding organisations to protect and enhance land, water and biodiversity resources.
We are currently seeking the right person to join our Waterways and Floodplain Planning Team.
You will lead the North East CMA’s role in delivery of Integrated Water Management outcomes across the region by building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop and pursue strategic IWM opportunities. You will demonstrate the value of collaboration and embed IWM practices to deliver productive, resilient and sustainable water cycle outcomes for the region.
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant skills in environmental planning, water or natural resource management, engineering or land use planning
- Excellent project management and planning skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience and collaborative skills to achieve great outcomes
- Experience working with a range of regional stakeholders
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills
- Ability and willingness to utilise relevant business systems.

This is a full-time (part-time negotiable), ongoing position which may be based in either Wodonga, Everton or Tallangatta. The salary excludes superannuation and will be negotiated based on experience.
