| Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | MS degree; completion of coursework and other requirements for a PhD in environmental engineering (candidate status) and a demonstrated record as a lead author on publication(s) using machine learning algorithms to forecast water quality. Fluency with open source coding languages (R, Python, SQL), deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), software (QGIS, HECRAS) and code sharing environments (GitHub, FigShare).Subject area expertise in hydrology and water quality. |
