Background:
Crest Point for Consultancy and Development (CPCD), established in 2018, is an independent international consulting company dedicated to driving data-driven, sustainable, and lasting development solutions for clients, partners, and communities. We are committed to ensuring that humanitarian and development programming is both accountable and evidence-based. CPCD operates across the MENA region, including countries like Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Yemen, Ukraine, Lebanon, and North Africa. Our team provides Third-Party Monitoring (TPM), Research and Assessments, and Capacity Building Services. We’ve partnered with a wide range of clients, including UN agencies, I/NGOs, and donors such as WFP, UNDP, GIZ, IOM, DRC, Relief International, CARE, Welthungerhilfe, Médecins du Monde, and Oxfam.

We deliver high-quality services, especially in complex and conflict-affected environments, with skilled teams that design and implement services tailored to our partners’ needs.
Objective:
CPCD is establishing a pool of qualified trainers to deliver short-term training and capacity-building assignments in Syria and the wider region. Trainers will support local actors, civil society organizations, and community-based groups in strengthening knowledge and practices across humanitarian and development fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver interactive training sessions tailored to participant needs
- Develop training materials, tools, and handouts in Arabic and/or English
- Apply participatory and adult-learning methodologies
- Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure outcomes
- Provide a final training report with recommendations for follow-up
- Coordinate closely with CPCD staff on training design and logistics
Areas of Expertise Sought:

- Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)
- Protection (Child Protection, Gender-Based Violence, Inclusion)
- Humanitarian Principles and Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS)
- Project Cycle Management and Proposal Writing
- Financial Management and Donor Compliance
- Conflict Sensitivity and Do No Harm
- Sectoral Training (WASH, Health, Education, Livelihoods)
Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in humanitarian or development programming
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering trainings, preferably in conflict-affected settings
- Strong understanding of the Syrian humanitarian and civil society context
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and report-writing skills
- Language requirements: Arabic (mandatory), English (preferred)
- Flexibility to deliver both in-person (inside Syria) and online trainings
Duration
Assignments will be short-term, typically 2–10 days per training. Trainers will be contracted on a consultancy basis and remunerated based on agreed daily rates.
