The WASH Assistant for Information Management (IM) is responsible for ensuring the efficient collection, management, and reporting of data to support evidence-based decision-making. He/she will act as a key liaison between field operations and the wider team, contributing to the overall effectiveness and accountability of WASH programs.
Key activities in your role will include
- Objective 1: Manage and report on project data to ensure timely and effective monitoring.
- Objective 2: Provide coordination and field support for WASH activities.
Do you meet the profile required criteria?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with WASH activities, including Water trucking, Solid waste management, Desludging, Hygiene kit distribution,
- Data management and reporting
- Familiarity with data collection tools and methods.
- Experience in fieldwork, including needs/ security assessments or beneficiary registration.
- Experience with donor reporting (BHA, ECHO, UNICEF, OCHA)
- Minimum of 1 year in a similar role, ideally with an NGO or the UN.
- Experience in emergency WASH interventions is strongly preferred.
- Private sector experience may also be con-sidered.
- Dynamism and the ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
- Strong commitment to honesty and humanitarian principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- High levels of adaptability and tea-mwork spirit.
