  • Work content and job description1)Research areas: Water Environmental Engineering – Research on water and material cycles, ecosystem conservation in rural areas and on hydraulic design, operation and maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems
    2)Teaching responsibilities for undergraduate course subjects [Lectures for undergraduate students must be given in Japanese]: Hydraulics, Hydraulics Exercises, Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Hydrology, Irrigation and Drainage Facilities Engineering, Flow Science, Biological and Environmental Engineering Experiments I, Biological and Environmental Engineering Practice, Graduation Thesis, etc.
    3)Teaching responsibilities for graduate course subjects: Advanced Hydraulics, Advanced Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Laboratory Work in Biological and Environmental Engineering, Seminar in Biological and Environmental Engineering, Advanced Laboratory Work in Biological and Environmental Engineering, Advanced Research in Biological and Environmental Engineering I/II
    Scope of change: The faculty member may be reassigned, concurrently assigned, or transferred to another position. (In principle, such an order will not be issued against his/her will. Working hours

  • Working hours :09:00-17:30Break time :12:00-12:45Holidays : Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and year-end through New Year holidays (from December 29 to January 3 of the following year).Overtime and other explanations : Discretionary labor system: Working hours is deemed as 7 hours and 45 minutes per day, basically the above working hours.

  • Description2)The applicant must have outstanding research achievements in the field of 1) of Job Details, and must be able to conduct original and high-level research, as well as actively educate and supervise students.
    3)The applicant must actively participate in the organizational management of the graduate school and the department, and collaborate with faculty members in diverse research fields in teachin and research.
    4)The applicant must be able to teach the subjects listed in 2), 3) of Job Details in both Japanese and English. The applicant must have proficiency in Japanese.
    5)The applicant must have ability and enthusiasm to actively develop educational and research activities from an international perspective and social collaboration with industry, government, etc.
