Women interested in studying nuclear-related subjects as part of MSc studies at IHE Delft are encouraged to apply to IHE Delft by 15 September 2025, so that they can be considered for the IAEA’s Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme (MSCFP). The competitive fellowship includes all costs related to MSc studies at IAEA Delft for successful female candidates.
The International Atomic Energy Agency’s Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship aims to support a more inclusive workforce by helping to increase the number of women in the nuclear field. Female applicants to IHE Delft’s master’s programmes who are interested in studying topics that involve water as well as nuclear-related topics such as isotope hydrology can apply for the scholarship.
Scholarships for women
Female applicants to IHE Delft who want to pursue one of the following MSc programmes can apply for the fellowship:
- MSc in Water and Sustainable Development with profile engineering sciences
- Research MSc in Water and Sustainable Development with profile engineering sciences
- Joint MSc in Limnology and Wetland Management
- Joint Erasmus Mundus MSc programme in Groundwater and Global Change
- Joint Erasmus Mundus MSc programme in Flood Risk Management
Admission requirements differ for each programme and can be found through the master programmes page. Applicants should also meet IAEA’s eligibility criteria for the scholarship.
How to apply
Female applicants who fulfil all the criteria and are interested in pursuing one of the listed IHE Delft MSc programmes in 2026-2027/2028 should, no later than 15 September, apply by sending an email with the intended programme in the subject line and a single PDF that includes:
- a CV
- a Bachelor diploma
- a Bachelor transcript
