Offer Description
Applications are open for 1 (one) Research Studentship, within the framework of project WATERSENS (1801P.01548.1.01), financed by the European Union through Horizon Europe Program
Workplan: The objectives of the work include the preparation and assembly of an experimental installation, including a green wall and green roofs for integrated urban water management. The candidate will monitor the installation and support the production of project reports. The work to be developed will constitute an integral part of the candidate’s doctoral thesis.
Duration: The research fellowship will have the duration of 12 months. It’s expected to begin in September 2025, and may be eventually renewed up to the maximum of 36 months, including the duration of the initial contract.

Benefits
Monthly maintenance allowance: the amount of the monthly maintenance allowance is € 1309,64, being the payment method of the Fellow by Wire Transfer.

Selection process
Selection methods: The selection methods will be the following:
i) Academic and research merit (30%)
ii) Experience in the development of research work in greywater treatment (40%)
iii) motivation letter (30%)
An individual interview may take place to clarify curricular and research aspects.
Composition of the selection Jury: Professor Ana Galvão, Professor Cristina Matos Silva and Professor Ana Sá.
Announcement/ notification of the results: The final evaluation results will be communicated to all applicants by email.
Deadlines and procedures of complaint and appeal: A complaint may be lodged against the final decision with the Jury of the competition, or an appeal with the President of IST-ID, within 15 working days from the respective notification.
