📢 Join Us: Opportunity for Junior Consultants (Groundwater Governance and Policy in Canada)
Blue Range Labs is leading a report on Groundwater Governance and Policy in Canada, commissioned by the Gordon Foundation. We are seeking one or more junior consultants to support project tasks related to our comparison of groundwater allocation and management across Canadian provinces and territories. Successful candidates will have a background in water law and policy, as well as specialized knowledge related to hydrogeology and groundwater management. The core activity involves completion of a worksheet characterizing groundwater allocation and management for the provinces and territories, integrating information from laws, regulations, reports, and academic publications. Other desirable qualifications include data management and visualization skills to support preparation of tables and figures. A background in Indigenous law and policy is also valued highly by the team. The role(s) will be tailored to fit between the candidate expertise and needs of the project with time commitments ranging from 3-15 days. Inquiries from postgraduate students are particularly welcome (subject to express support from your graduate supervisor); however, please note that the material from this project cannot be used directly for thesis projects due to restrictions from the funder.
