The Opportunity:
The department is looking to establish a pool of suitable, qualified and experienced individuals to fill current and future Natural Resource Management Officer vacancies in our regionally based South West Licensing team in Bunbury.
We currently have one (1) permanent position available immediately.
As a Natural Resource Management Officer you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Water Resource Licensing program in Western Australia’s South West Region. As part of a collaborative licensing team, you will work closely with the Senior Natural Resource Management Officer and Program Manager to drive departmental outcomes and manage key projects.
This role offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of stakeholder including government agencies, mining companies, consultants, Traditional Owners, irrigation operators, and community group to deliver sustainable and effective water licensing solutions. This pool will operate for a period of twelve (12) months with vacancies being offered at part or full time on a permanent or fixed term contract basis with the possibility of extension or permanency. Pool applicants do not hold a right of review against appointment decisions made from the pool.
