Consultant – Training on Institutional, Legal, and Economic Aspects of IWRM in Central Asia
Location: Central Asia (regional travel required)
Duration: September 2025 – February 2026
CAREC is seeking a Consultant to design and deliver training materials and conduct regional training sessions on institutional, legal, and economic aspects of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in Central Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive training materials covering institutional/legal frameworks, economic aspects of water use, and regional IWRM implementation.
Prepare at least two interactive exercises, including one focused on conflict resolution/negotiation.
Deliver four regional training sessions jointly with a technical trainer (one session will focus on the Central Asian Network of Women in Water Management).
Prepare a short post-training report (max. 3 pages) summarizing objectives, outcomes, participant feedback, and effectiveness.
Expected Deliverables:
Training materials (presentations, handouts, supporting text).
Four regional offline trainings (Oct 2025 – Jan 2026).
Training report.
