The Master of Science Program in Water Diplomacy at the Department of Civil Engineering, Jordan University of Science and Technology, is the first in the Middle East. The two-year program focuses on providing stakeholders, politicians, and decision-makers with the necessary knowledge in water diplomacy. This program aims to develop practical approaches for managing transboundary water resources effectively and peacefully in the MENA region.
The MSc program emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating perspectives from international water law, engineering, social sciences, and natural sciences. The Degree in Water Diplomacy is awarded by the Faculty of Graduate Studies at Jordan University of Science and Technology. The program is one of the main pillars of the Blue Peace Middle East Capacity Development Project, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and hosted in the Water Diplomacy Center.
