Type: national natural and legal persons
Objective of the contract:
To contract specialized construction services for the execution of the “Improvement of 3 Community Water Systems for Human Consumption in Nizag, Pueblo Viejo, and Chalahuan, in the Alausí canton, Chimborazo province.”
Preliminary scope by community:
- Nizag: The main reserve tank for the drinking water system, with a capacity of approximately 200 m³, is planned to be adapted and repaired. In addition, to achieve the appropriate reserve level for the community, the construction of an additional tank of approximately 50 m³, including its perimeter fence, is planned. In the distribution network, the construction of three pressure-break tanks and a flow distribution tank with a pressure-break function is planned.
- Pueblo Viejo: The construction of three reserve tanks with a capacity of 5 m³ each is planned for the Pueblo Viejo Alto, Japulina, and Punash Alto areas. The reconstruction of the intakes in Loma Alta, Punash Alto, and Japulina is planned, including their perimeter fencing. A new 960-meter distribution line will also be built, with the installation of 13 residential connections.
- Chalahuan: A structure will be built for chemical storage and a valve chamber. The perimeter of the main tank will be enclosed with a galvanized pipe and mesh structure. It will be equipped with pumping equipment and control panels compatible with the existing solar energy system. In addition, a new disinfection system will be installed in the main tank.

- Day 2: Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 8:00 AM – Nizag and Chalahuan Communities

It is mandatory to visit the 3 communities (both days).
Meeting point: Alausí, Guayaquil Plaza, across from the GADM facilities.
