This position is part of the Mobility Team at Austin Water (AW), which oversees the impact of transportation and transit-oriented projects on AW’s water, wastewater, and reclaimed water pipeline infrastructure. These projects involve utility pipeline relocations and conflict mitigation associated with local and regional roadway/ highway improvements, transit-oriented developments, and at times drainage infrastructure related improvements. The team works on projects initiated and led by various governmental entities and agencies, including TxDOT, Travis and Williamson Counties, CTRMA, and the City of Austin’s own Transportation Corridor Program and Project Connect Light Rail initiative. This role works in a fast-paced environment, coordinating continuously with other teams and divisions within AW, and with other City departments and external stakeholders throughout the planning, design, bid and construction phases for successful project completion. This is an exciting opportunity to work on some unique and complex utility pipeline relocation projects in the City of Austin.
