Join Our Team: Technical Officer – Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)

Are you passionate about using data and learning to drive impactful conservation? Wetlands International is hiring a Technical Officer – Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) to help strengthen our global efforts in wetland protection and restoration.

Based in Nairobi, Kenya, this role is pivotal in shaping a robust MEL system that supports strategic decision-making and enhances organisational learning. You will work closely with global and regional teams, using our Theory of Change to develop tools, build capacity, and generate actionable insights that inform conservation at local and global levels.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Master’s degree in International Development, Environmental Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of international experience in MEL, ideally in conservation or sustainability.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, dashboard development, capacity building, and adaptive management.
