The Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Water Board has an opening for a Water Resource Control Engineer in the Municipal Permitting Unit. The position is located at 320 W. 4th Street, Los Angeles, CA, 90013, in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles next to the Pershing Square metro station and a convenient location for other modes of public transportation.
Under the close supervision of a Senior Water Resource Control Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing recycled water projects covered under individual Waste Discharge Requirements and Water Reclamation Requirements or enrolled under Order WQ 2016-0068-DDW (Water Reclamation Requirements for Recycled Water Use). The Water Resource Control Engineer will be expected to work independently, communicate effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, respond timely to questions/requests, and become proficient in the required duties.
