About Mangrove Water: Mangrove Water is dedicated to providing technical support and guidance to support the implementation of in-line chlorination, globally. Our mission is to ensure safe and effective water treatment solutions are accessible worldwide. As we work to provide comprehensive, start to finish support to implementers of in-line chlorination we seek to build a roster of highly qualified consultants to collaborate on various projects.
About the Consultant Roster: Our roster serves as a pool of pre-vetted experts ready to be called upon for upcoming projects. Inclusion in our roster does not guarantee immediate work but ensures priority consideration for relevant opportunities as they arise.
Key Areas of Expertise Sought: We are looking for professionals, particularly those with background in civil and environmental engineering, and other relevant fields, with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Water Treatment Engineering
- Engineering Project Management
- Water Quality Monitoring and Evaluation
- Water System Engineering and Design
Responsibilities: Responsibilities vary by assignment, but some illustrative examples are listed below:
- Provide expert guidance on the implementation of in-line chlorination systems
- Develop context specific resources and materials for the implementation of in-line chlorination systems
- Develop training materials for local implementing partners
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver high quality reports and recommendations within agreed timelines Qualifications:
- Proven, relevant experience in water treatment, in-line chlorination, WASH program implementation, WASH capacity building, intervention design, or related fields
- Experience working in global WASH
- Experience in civil/environmental engineering and drinking water supply and treatment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- Experience working in consulting, technical advisory, or project-based work
- Experience with field deployment of water chlorination a plus
- Computer assisted design (Solidworks or Fusion360 or Civil 3D) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, environmental engineering preferred, Master’s or PhD preferred
