Join our team this summer and help protect the Fraser Valley’s watersheds! The Fraser Valley Watersheds Coalition (FVWC) is hiring full-time Field Technicians to support hands-on ecological restoration work across a variety of project sites in the Fraser Valley. This outdoor role is perfect for individuals who enjoy physical work, value teamwork, and want to make a tangible impact on local ecosystems.
You’ll gain practical experience in invasive species removal, native planting, erosion control, site maintenance, and more, all while working in the beautiful outdoors alongside a supportive and passionate crew.
Job Type:Â Full time employee, non-permanent, time-duration.
Preferred Start Date:Â Candidates available for immediate start are preferred.
End Date:Â Â to March 31, 2026 with potential for extension.
Compensation:Â $25.02 per hour. Employees receive a monthly cellphone allowance and can influence a flexible schedule
Location: Preference will be given to candidates local to the Fraser Valley Regional District area (which includes candidates local to Hope, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission and electoral areas).
