SWAN APAC Manager – Part-Time Position

The Smart Water Networks Forum (SWAN), a UK-based non-profit, is seeking an immediate part-time Asia-Pacific Manager. SWAN is uniquely focused on transforming the water sector by increasing the awareness and acceleration of smart, data-driven solutions in drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater networks worldwide. We are seeking a standout individual with excellent organisational, customer service, and research skills. The position is remote, requiring flexible hours with regular contact with SWAN’s global team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support and coordination for the SWAN Asia-Pacific Alliance (e.g. preparing slides, taking minutes during calls, writing recaps)
  • Lead APAC member engagement and retention efforts (e.g. update calls, case study collection, assisting where needed)
  • Lead APAC-based new member recruitment (e.g. market mapping, scheduling and leading calls, following through)
  • Coordinate regional workshop and webinar events (planning, admin, recruitment, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Marketing Director to support across different channels: social media, newsletters, member interviews, SWAN blog
  • Work closely with SWAN’s global management team

Requirements:

  • Be based in Australia or Singapore
  • A proactive, self-starter (highly motivated and capable of working independently)
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong relationship management and active listening
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Previous experience with CRM system, WordPress, Canva, Slack, Trello is a plus
  • Native English speaker
  • Undergraduate degree
