Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Dissertation in the field of urban water management
- Independent research in the field of urban water management
- Independent teaching
- Training and further education
- Administrative tasks
Your profile:
- Completed relevant master’s, master’s or diploma degree in the field of civil or environmental engineering, cultural engineering or a comparable field of study
- Modelling experience in the field of water supply or drainage systems and/or data-based models desirable
- Knowledge of urban drainage, nature-based solutions (NBS), water supply or measurement and monitoring systems desirable
- Python, Matlab or similar programming skills are an advantage
- Very good knowledge of German and English required
- Ability to work in a team with lecturers, institute staff and supervised students

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
