As Giresun University, we are seeking a highly motivated PostDoc researcher who is compatible with teamwork to work within the scope of our TÜBİTAK | EUREKA project.
The successful candidate is expected to support the “SAMSUN: SPATIAL ANALYSIS MAPPING SIMULATION FOR UNDERSTANDING OF NATURAL DISASTERS” project, particularly in hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, flood mapping, and geographic information systems (GIS) analysis.
The selected candidate will be employed full-time at Giresun University and will also have the opportunity to collaborate periodically with our project partners in Ankara and the United Kingdom.
The position is renewable annually and will last for a total of two years. The monthly salary is 36,000 TRY, which is the upper limit set by TÜBİTAK for PostDoc positions. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a related field. Due to the multidisciplinary nature of the project, the position requires experience in both hydraulics/hydrology and intermediate-level geographic information systems.
