Offer Description

The research activity will focus on the study and characterization of the forcings originating extreme hydrological events, specifically droughts and floods, in order to improve models for prediction and scenario simulazion. The activity will be articulated through the collection of data and information on droughts and floods events on a global scale, the preparation of simulation models, the study of climate and social dynamics, in order to identify the conditions that can lead to an amplification of the socio-economic impact. The teaching activity, support to students, as well as collaboration in the drafting of degree theses will concern the teaching activity of the scientific disciplinary sector ICAR/02.
