About FACE Africa
FACE Africa is a women led, African founded, U.S.-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bringing sustainable clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services to some of the most remote and underserved communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Since 2009, we’ve implemented hundreds of community-led WASH projects that have improved health outcomes, reduced the burden of water collection, and empowered women and girls through increased access to safe water and health education. We have reached more than 500,000 people across Liberia and Nigeria, and have ambitious plans for regional expansion in the next 1 to 3 years. We are a small but high-impact team driven by passion, purpose, and a belief in the fundamental human right to clean water and gender equality. We believe in locally led solutions and equipping communities with the tools and knowledge they need to improve the health and quality of life of their communities.
