Vacancy: Catchment Partnership Officer Salary: £28-000-£32,000 depending on experience (plus 9% Employer’s Contribution and Life Insurance Scheme)
Contract: 5 year fixed term (6 months probationary period)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Wessex Rivers Trust (Wessex RT) is an environmental charity, dedicated to the protection and conservation of rivers and chalk streams in the Wessex area. Wessex RT is part of the Rivers Trust movement; the umbrella organisation helping to protect and enhance most of the UK’s rivers.

This is an exciting opportunity to take our evolving Catchment Programme to the next level, helping the Trust and our stakeholders protect and enhance these special rivers. As an experienced professional, the Catchment Partnership Officer will lead on a range of Test & Itchen Catchment Partnership based activities, including extensive engagement with a range of stakeholders to identify, develop and facilitate projects which deliver tangible outcomes for these special chalk streams and their iconic wildlife.

You’ll also have the opportunity to work with our passionate team to restore river habitats, engage with our local communities, and monitor the health of our rivers throughout our beautiful catchments.
