Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Institute (WASH Institute) established during the year 2008 in Kodaikanal, is a registered non-profit government technical, training, research and development organization dedicated to providing practical solutions to tackle a wide range of water, sanitation and hygiene issues in India.
Over the years, WASH Institute has carved its niche in the field of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene as an expert through its quality training programs, Technical Assistance programs to the Government of India, grassroots programs, and research & advocacy. WASH Institute also has an academic wing that conducts formal courses at Reddiarchatram, Tamil Nadu in affiliation with the Madurai Kamaraj University. The Institute has a proven record of accomplishment in organizing National Workshops/conferences on various themes of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene. WASH Institute is currently operating from different branch offices that are located in Dindigul, Chennai, Madurai, Vedasandhur, Thiruppullani, Kadaladi, Adalur (Tamil Nadu), Munger, Patna (Bihar), West Bengal, Bhadradari Kothagudem (Telangana), Kadiyam (Andra Pradesh) and Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh), Kolar, Bangaluru (Karnataka), East Godavari district (Andhra Pradesh), Barpeta (Assam) and New Delhi.

Desired Qualification
• Masters in social work (MSW) Community Development / MBA Rural Development/ Economics, or project management and experience in working in NGOs.
• 2-5 years of work experience.
• Experience of working with Government / field work setup will be an added advantage.
• The Candidate should possess excellent computer skills in MS Office, Teams and relevant applications.
Job Description:
• Overall project coordination
• Guide and support the team to implement the project successfully
• Meeting with all stakeholders periodically and organise meetings as per requirements.
• Meeting/reporting donor representatives periodically and update the project progress.
• Prepare presentation, other documents as and when require.
• Mobilise resource from different stakeholders.
• Planning, execution and regular monitoring of the project activities by visiting individual project villages and work sites.
• Preparing reports, documents periodically and submitting to reporting Officer/Donor
• Assist other team members as and when require.
• Lead in procurement, tendering, local vendors/contractor selection and monitoring their construction work to ensure quality and timely work completion.
• Ensuring timely fund release to the respective contractors/vendors
• Develop IEC materials, provide training to team members to use the same.
• Represent various forms and network to share the project outcome/impact
• Assist to complete any other urgent requirements/tasks assigned by the head office/ donor, related to the project

• Ability to Implement and learn new skills and concepts quickly.
• Problem solving skills and deductive reasoning abilities.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and response quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, cloud computing and applications.
• High personal and professional integrity
Languages
Sound knowledge of speaking, reading and writing in English and Tamil is essential
Salary Package
The annual Salary (CTC) will commensurate with the available skills and fitment of the incumbent as per the selection process.
