Arpan Seva Sansthan is a non – profit organization, registered under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act 1958, was brought up in shape on 29th March 1996. It was formed by a team of young professionals who had the dedication & commitment to serve rural community and bring about positive societal change. ARPAN was brought into existence with the purpose of ensuring access of community to secured livelihood opportunities.
ARPAN has 28 years of experience in developmental sector mainly in the field of Water resources management, Livelihood enhancement, Improved agriculture & horticulture interventions, Livestock management, Drinking water, Health and sanitation/ WaSH, Capacity building, Skill training, Women empowerment and working with community based organizations.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Watershed Project Specialist to lead and support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of watershed development activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in civil or agriculture engineering, coupled with hands-on experience in the field of watershed development and natural resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical planning, execution, and supervision of watershed project activities.
• Conduct site assessments, design water harvesting structures, soil and water conservation measures.
• Prepare and review DPRs, BOQs, and technical drawings as required.
• Coordinate with field teams, government departments, and local communities.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to engineering standards.
• Document best practices, case studies, and prepare project reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Agriculture Engineering (B.Tech).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in watershed development or related rural infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of watershed principles, hydrological analysis, and NRM practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/MS Office/GIS tools (preferred).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in rural project areas.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and as per organizational norms.
