Local recruitment: Till Restoration Project Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Officer to support Tweed Forum’s work on the River Till. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver positive environmental change on the ground to improve habitats in the River Till Catchment in north Northumberland. Working with farmers, landowners, land agents and partner organisations, the post-holder will develop and deliver woodland creation and river restoration projects through the Till River Restoration Strategy (TRRS) and Great Northumberland Forest (GNF), amongst other projects.

The successful applicant will possess good project management skills, at least 2 years’ work experience in an applied forestry/environment/agricultural related post – or equivalent project management experience developing and delivering environmental works – and be enthusiastic and passionate about restoring nature in a working rural landscape.
