The research project will be focused on the activities related to the topics listed in the Declaratory Statement of SSD GEOS-03/B. In detail, the researcher will be expected to work on the implementation of numerical models in the field of hydrogeology with the aim of sustainable management of groundwater resources as an answer to climate change. The researcher will range from quantitative management of the groundwater resource for environmental purposes (evaluation of the water resource variation due to climate change) to qualitative management for energy purposes (use of the resource for geo-exchange systems).The researcher will be expected to produce publications of high impact, also in the context of competitive research projects, and will be expected to carry out teaching activities on the characteristic topics of SSD GEOS-03/B in both Bachelor and Master Degree Courses.

Specific Requirements

Italian or foreign applicants, who have a PhD or equivalent qualification, obtained in Italy or abroad are admitted to selection process. In addition, in the past 5 years, they must have authored, co-authored, or edited a number of publications, accepted texts, essays included in collections, and articles published in print or digital journals equal to or exceeding the minimum required number of 5, excluding internal notes or departmental reports.
