 As a key member of our Puerto Rico team, you’ll be involved in diverse projects that can broaden your knowledge in the water resources and environmental areas. These tasks include data collection and analysis, developing and applying hydraulic models for water distribution systems optimization, task coordination, and evaluation of infiltration and inflow studies. Using industry and our cutting-edge, proprietary tools and modeling software, you’ll assist with delivering projects and serving and developing clients.

Here’s what you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental,  Mechanical  Engineering, or related engineering field. 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in water and wastewater projects.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • Experience working in water resources or environmental feasibility studies, preparing preliminary engineering reports for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, evaluating water resources projects, and providing expertise in analyzing water networks and sewer collection systems.
  • Strong background in hydraulic analysis for pressurized conduits and open channel flow.
  • Experience writing technical reports.
  • Strong self-motivation, problem-solving, and team-oriented work practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills, multitasking ability, and computer skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.

Ideally, you may also have

  • Master’s degree in water resources, environmental, mechanical engineering, or related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer license.
  • Experience developing hydraulic/ water quality models (e.g. InfoWater Pro, InfoSWMM, InfoWorks, WaterCad, etc.), including model calibration (steady state and extended period simulation projects), and scenario development.
  • Previous experience working in infiltration and Inflow Studies.
  • Writing and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

The role is Hybrid, working in our Guaynabo offices.

The base salary range for this position is $85,300.00 to $111,900.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
