Duration: 3–6 Months
Stipend: ₹5,000 /month

Role Overview
As a Groundwater Recharge Intern, you will support the research, planning, and field implementation of rainwater harvesting, check dams, and soil-water conservation techniques across farming regions. You will work closely with technical advisors, GIS teams, and local stakeholders to drive pilot projects that enhance water sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on best practices in groundwater recharge in agri-rural settings
- Support planning and execution of pilot recharge structures (percolation pits, farm ponds, etc.)
- Assist with data collection, site assessments, and mapping (using GPS/GIS tools)
- Coordinate with local communities, NGOs, and government departments
- Analyze impact data and suggest improvements for scale-up
- Document case studies and prepare reports
Required Skills
- Pursuing/completed B.Tech/M.Tech/MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Water Resources, or equivalent
- Strong interest in water sustainability, rural development, or climate resilience
- Field-ready: willing to travel and engage with communities
- Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, GIS, or QGIS is a bonus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
