The post is for a permanent position. The area of research is Hydrology and Hydraulic and Maritime Structures.
Requested research duties: in the areas typical of the academic recruitment field CEAR-01/B – Hydraulic Structures, Maritime Engineering and Hydrology. Specifically, the expected research activities concern management strategies, including the design and maintenance of infrastructure works, for water resources and the protection of surface waters and groundwater from overexploitation and pollution. The expected vision of the research activity concerns with the integrated management of water and energy resources, including hydraulic and hydrological risk and the effects of anthropogenic action and climatic change on the environment and ecosystems
Requested teaching duties: teaching should be performed at Bachelor, Master and PhD level in the area characterizing the academic recruitment field CEAR-01/B – Hydraulic Structures, Maritime Engineering and Hydrology

Specific Requirements
Applications are welcome from candidates with the following qualifications:
a) candidates who have obtained national scientific qualification (“A.S.N.”), pursuant to art. 16 of Law no. 240/2010, for the academic recruitment field 08/A1 corresponding to the discipline group covered by the announcement and for the functions covered by the procedure, or for higher functions provided they are not already holders of the same higher functions;
b) candidates who are declared suitable by the Academic Qualifications Procedure, as per law no. 210/1998, for the academic discipline included in the academic recruitment field 08/A1, and for the level corresponding to the position advertised in the selection procedure, or for a higher academic level, as long as they do not hold the position, for the period in which the suitability remains valid;
c) professors already working at other universities at the level corresponding to that of the selection procedure;
d) academics working at universities abroad in teaching or research work at an academic level equal to the level of the position advertised in the selection procedure, on the basis of the table comparing Italian academic positions with positions abroad as defined by the Ministry in Ministerial Decree no. 456/2023.
Participation in the procedure is reserved for candidates external to the University, defined by art. 18, paragraph 4, Law 240/2010 as “those who in the last three years have not served as full tenured professor, tenured associate professor, permanent researcher, fixed-term researcher as per article 24, paragraph 3, letters a) and b), or have not been holders of “Assegni di icercar”, or enrolled in university courses” at University of Trento.
