Graduate students to conduct research in Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering via AGU

The Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering at Missouri University of Science & Technology (S&T) has an open position for qualified and motivated graduate students to conduct research in Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering. The research will fall within the broad topics of hydrology and water resources engineering. A specific interest is on quantitative precipitation estimation (QPE) and its uncertainty analysis/modeling and advanced hydrologic modeling using the U.S. National Water Model. The anticipated start date is Spring 2026 academic semester.

Required Qualifications: Qualified candidates should have a MS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering or related disciplines. Minimum requirements include excellent written and oral communication skills, previous experience related to the activities in the research fields, evidence of computer programming skills (e.g., Python, Matlab, R, Fortan, C, C++ ).
