The University of Cadiz offers a position for a PhD researcher, preferably with a degree in marine sciences, to work on the EDAGUA project on soil processes, carbon cycle and soil-water interaction. Skills/Qualifications
The activities to be carried out in the position offered will be related to the design of sampling campaigns and handling of field instrumentation for the study of soils and water.
Carrying out laboratory determinations: granulometry, calcimetry, Boyoucos, porosity, organic matter, hydraulic conductivity, R-X diffractometry. Creation of databases, analysis and generation of cartography using GIS tools.
Development of new low altitude remote sensing applications for the characterisation of soils and surface hydro-edaphic processes.

Additional Information
Eligibility criteria
Graduate in Environmental Sciences.
Experience: in teaching and research work in the field of Earth Sciences.
Languages: English, level C1 or higher
Others: experience in the authorship of scientific publications in the field of knowledge of the project’s subject matter.
