Bluefield Research is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Analyst to lead our analysis of advanced water treatment technologies and solutions, business models, and market strategies.
This is a unique opportunity to drive thought leadership and provide strategic insights to global companies navigating critical water challenges—from reuse and desalination to treatment chemicals and emerging technologies.
As an in-house subject matter expert and thought leader, you will work closely with a talented team of analysts and collaborate with clients across the municipal and industrial water sectors. From policy shifts to the commercialization of new technologies, your insights will help decision makers navigate an evolving global water landscape.
Become a water industry thought leader…
We are seeking a candidate who can do the following:
- Lead with impact: Guide a team of analysts to deliver impactful reports, data-backed presentations, and client workshops. Foster collaboration, open communication, and a shared sense of purpose across the team and company.
- Own the research: Monitor key trends and business models in water reuse, desalination, advanced treatment technologies (e.g., membranes, chemicals), and solutions (e.g., reuse, desalination, emerging contaminant remediation). Assess their implications for technology providers, utilities, industrials, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Engage clients directly: Provide expert support to clients, ensuring alignment between research insights and their business needs. This is manifested through workshops, presentations, webcasts, podcasts, and onsite meetings to maximize client value.
- Be at thought leader: Become a leading voice across the water sector by representing Bluefield as a thought leader through speaking engagements, published insights, and client interactions. Build and nurture relationships with industry stakeholders to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Closely collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to strategically identify near and long-term opportunities, promote Bluefield insights to existing prospective clients, and be a subject matter expert. This also includes attending conferences and associated travel.
- Drive results: Develop research plans, manage project timelines, and guide resource allocation to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality analysis. The role also includes working closely with the editorial and production teams.
