The World Bank is seeking a consulting firm, research organization or non-government organization to support the development of a synthesis report and country briefs for the Pasifika Pathways for Water Security initiative. The objective of this assignment is to enhance understanding of water security issues in the Pacific and develop actionable pathways for improving and scaling water security.

The consultant will use existing information collected throughout 2024-2025 from the Household Water Security Experiences Survey and other World Bank research initiatives, and will conduct complementary research and analysis to develop strengths-based pathways to enhance water security. The final deliverables will include a synthesis report and four country briefs for Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands.

The deliverables will contribute to the World Bank’s overall research program on Pacific water security which seeks to increase the understanding of the interlinkages between water security and national health, environmental and economic objectives, and to improve the design of financing and policy reforms to enhance water security in the region.
