Position Details
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Water and Engineering to join the Housing Building and Land Delivery Group within the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP), on a 2 years fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Director Infrastructure, the position supports the Director Infrastructure in the following areas:
- Working with VPA planning teams, landowners/developers, key government agencies, councils and other stakeholders to inform the VPA’s planning efforts.
- Working in the infrastructure portfolios of utilities and servicing, civil engineering, integrated water management and cost estimating.
- Assisting in the coordinated planning and provision of infrastructure and services in urban renewal, strategic planning sites and growth areas.
- Providing high-level advice on infrastructure costing, design and delivery
The role requires the application of skills across a range of areas as well as liaising with VPA planning staff and generally assisting other technical services staff as required.
