Duties:
Prepare equipment and materials for research.
Assist MSc students in data collection, data entry, analysis and interpretation at a peatland restoration site in Sudbury, ON.
Perform data/word processing, routine computations, and record keeping.

And other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

Must be able to work in an outdoor setting, walking considerable distances in uneven terrain while carrying light to moderate loads of equipment, under a variety of weather conditions.
Attention to detail in recording keeping and ecohydrological measurements.
Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Education:
An undergraduate student who has taken or is registered to take 38:375 (Hydrology) and/or 38:457 (Wetlands).
Students interested in completing a Work Experience, Applied Topics, or Undergraduate thesis are preferred.

Experience:
Preferable for some experience in research of field work, but not required.
